Linda Levenson M.N., N.P.
Morphosis Rejuvenation Studio Founder
Linda is a Nurse Practitioner. She spent eight years as a college
clinical instructor and lecturer. In 1998, she created the concept
of Wellness in the Workplace, a mobile healthcare center that provided
on-site medical services at corporate campuses. Lindas interest
in skin care and aesthetic medicine led her to develop the Morphosis
concept.
Linda Levenson wasnt planning to be an entrepreneur. She
had always been interested in medicine and had an instinctive nurturing
personality that made nursing a natural career focus. She earned
her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of California
at San Francisco Medical Center and a Masters degree in Nursing
from UCLA. Following graduation, Levenson first specialized in Obstetrics,
Gynecology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Southern California.
But after moving to the Bay Area in the mid 1990s, her ability to
provide timely health services became more apparent when she developed
the concept of a mobile medical unit. Levenson created a financial
package and generated enough interest and funding to launch Wellness
in the Work Place. Wellness in the Workplace provided mobile, on-site
medical services at corporate campuses like AMD, AOL Netscape and
others. Services included flu shots, pap smears, diabetes, STD,
cholesterol and PSA testing, weight management programs and more.
After realizing the success of her first venture, Levenson, not
atypical of an entrepreneur, shifted her focus to a different field
- aesthetic medicine. After working in cosmetic dermatology in Los
Gatos and a plastic surgery office in San Francisco, Levenson developed
her revolutionary approach to providing treatments for healthier
and younger skin in a very different environment. Bringing together
a team of experts, the latest advances in medicine, aesthetics,
and beauty technology and the ideal location, she developed Morphosis
Rejuvenation Studio and located it in the posh European setting
of Santana Row, in San Jose, California. Levenson said she chose
the location for the studio in the upscale retail area because of
its accessibility and convenience.
Working together with facial plastic surgeon and Morphosis medical
director, Dr. Randall B. Weil and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Miles Guyton,
Levenson expanded her initial concept to provide a full spectrum
of rejuvenation services in one location.
Time is something we dont like to waste. We are all
too busy to have to schedule an appointment weeks in advance for
a service that can easily be provided without an appointment and
leave time in your day for lunch or some shopping, she said.
Plus these services dont need to be provided in a clinic
or doctors office. Combining convenience and comfort and offering
professional, medically directed services is what Morphosis Rejuvenation
Studio is all about.
Levensons years of training will keep her involved in the
day-to-day operation. She will give or oversee a personal, complimentary,
consultation before any treatment is performed. Her goal is to build
her clients confidence by responding to the concerns they
have about their skin. What I might see as a flaw on a persons
skin may not be what bothers them. I want to respond to their particular
issue. But the truth is that despite the different ways it is said,
the most common concern is that no one wants to look their age.
she said. Most of our treatments and services reverse or slow
the effects of time.
Shes referring to the reduction of elasticity in the skin
that often creates wrinkles and causes the skin to sag. The natural
collagen that provides the elasticity in the skin begins to diminish
the day we are born. At Morphosis, the menu of treatments, designed
by Levenson, help to defy age without the need for plastic surgery.
But for those interested in a more dramatic approach, Morphosis
services can provide a regimen of skin treatments to build the skins
health to its optimum level prior to surgery and rebuild it following
surgery.
Our ultimate goal is to make our clients look better and
have healthier skin. Its a promise we feel confident we can
deliver, Levenson said.
